Earlier this year I experimented with double dry-hopping a batch of my rustic farmhouse wheat beer, Blondine. I split the batch and used 2lbs per barrel of Idaho Gem and Cashmere. Those spent hops laid together with the hot-fermented light wheat beer I brew as the base of PKL FKR for 3 months. What finds its way into your bottle is light, delicate and has layers and layers of flavors. Let it warm, drink with your nose as well as your mouth and let the experience transport you somewhere warm and tropical.
